Avoiding Selfish Perfectionism

I’m sharing this story now, though it isn’t perfect…to avoid chickening out and not sharing it at all, plus getting over selfish perfectionism. What is selfish perfectionism you ask? I’ll be glad to tell you…what I call selfish perfectionism is working on something for so long, trying to get it absolutely perfect, that it is never finished or shared.

Jon Acuff states in his book, Quitter, that 90% perfect and shared with the world always changes more lives than 100% perfect and stuck in your head. (or drawer, recycle bin, computer, etc.)
So, I’m choosing to blog this novel scared and only 90% perfect/edited. Maybe 75%, but you get the idea.

The story will begin later this week!

Excited,

Michelle
